Erica’s Favorite Book

While you all wait for my sloth-like ass (speed-wise, not shape-wise. I hope…) to finish book 3, I thought I’d share my favorite book of all time with you guys. Incidentally, it’s written by my favorite author of all time (I inhale her books at a speed and ferocity only rivalled by my chocolate devouring habit) and it’s a nice, thick, juicy book with delicious slow-burn romance and amazing world building!

It’s also a sci-fi romance where the heroine and a random crew of humans ends up on an alien planet where they meet a ferocious, sword-wielding lizard-hero. Don’t let his appearances put you off–he’s an amazingly complex hero that I’m more than half-way in love with (don’t tell my husband!), and I hope you give him a chance.

The first couple of chapters are a bit slow, but once you get sucked in, it won’t let you up until you’ve finished. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve read it now, but I know the count is embarrassingly high.

Anyways… If you’ve read it (or you end up reading it) leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

  2. Your series has been my favorite, I haven’t been able to put it down! There hasn’t been a full moment, I’m so excited for the third book!❤️

  3. Erica I did read the book. It was good, kept me interested couldn’t wait to see what would come next. I did grow frustrated with the humans that did survive the crash and then throught the remainder of the story. Just showed how bad humans could be to other humans. Which in this world is happening, people turning against each other you either do this or you need to be punished. People that have power all they care about is power and that showed in the so called leader of the humans. He got his due in the end. Though i would not say it was my favorite book, i would say it is definately worth the read.

    1. The humans turned me into a little rage-muffin for a good while there, that’s for sure! The sad part was that it didn’t really surprise me. It feels like something that could definitely happen, though I’m choosing to believe the majority of people are good when given a choice. I’m glad you enjoyed the book though <3
